According to our Sampraday rules, consumption of food should stop from 16:30 BST on Thursday 27th August 2026. Children, elderly and sick haribhakto should observe fast from at least 00:33 BST on Friday 28th August 2026. Since this eclipse is taking place during the phase of moon set and sun rise, consumption of food should not be before 19:56 BST on Friday 28th August 2026.
