About Us

 

Shree Kutch Satsang Swaminarayan Temple (East London) has been a UK-registered charity since 1986.

The temple belongs to the Narnarayan Dev Gadi (diocese), and is affiliated with Shree Swaminarayan Temple Bhuj, India. Hinduism encompasses a vast range of beliefs – our Temple is dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan and aims to promote and carry on his teachings as a way of life. The teachings of Lord Swaminarayan are present in a wide range of literature and scriptures, namely the ‘Shikshapatri’ and ‘Vachanamrut ’ among others. ‘Seva’, or selfless service, is promoted by all Hindu faith, and therefore our secondary aim is to “relieve the aged, the poor, the sick and the disabled” as per our charity constitution. Our constitution sets out our key objectives:
