200th Shikshapatri Jayanti – Mari Vani, Maru Swarup

A historic milestone was observed on Friday, 23 January 2026🗓, coinciding with the auspicious occasions of Vasant Panchami and Shikshapatri Jayanti 📖.

To honour this momentous occasion, we commemorated the 200th Shikshapatri Jayanti with a grand celebration, as per below poster!

To mark this great 200 anniversary milestone Bhuj Dham Mandir and its affiliates have developed a updated Shikshapatri App, with greatly enhanced features to help everyone read, learn and follow Shriji Maharaj’s commandments.

200th Shikshapatri Jayanti – Mari Vani, Maru Swarup

With immense pride❤️ and joy🥹, we are truly blessed and excited to announce that the original Shikshapatri given to Sir John Malcolm by Bhagwan Swaminarayan Himself, will be coming to our Mandir 🤩🥳.

We will be holding a very special and historic event from Wednesday 18th – Sunday 22nd February, in the presence of Bhuj santo who will recite the Samuha Shikshapatri Basha Katha🧡.

There will also be special programmes on from Friday, including The 212 Experience (the Mukh Paat) on Sunday evening, where everyone can partake in reciting Shikshapatri slokh(s). Names are coming in thick and fast and being logged at the desk in the Mandir.

Please see poster at top of this page for full event itinerary, including the dress code 🥻👕. The original Shikshapatri will be at our Mandir from Friday 20th February to Sunday 22nd February.

What a truly rare and historic moment this will be – to welcome into our Mandir the sacred scripture that has been guiding our hearts and way of life for over 200 years 💕
